Cordia2 shx 1 An introduction to the cordia2 project.The cordia2 shx is a small tool that uses hyperspectral imaging to extract information from images and videos.For example, it can spot objects such as individual flowers in a flower bed, the particular animals in an animal sanctuary, or even landmarks such as buildings or trees. This enables people to perform open-source spatial analysis on their own images and videos without having access to expensive gear like satellite imagery. The best part: it's all free! The goal was to build an application that could detect objects in pictures and videos. The development started in early 2013 and is now available for download (v1.5) on our GitHub page: https://github. com/FPLShack/cordia2-shxThe cordia2 shx can detect and segment plants and animals from imagery and videos. It was created to help people with little or no spatial skills to analyse remote sensing data themselves. The cordia2 shx was built using Python and is free in nature.
